Mahofa evokes the Mugabe is infallible mentality of Muzenda - she still fails to see the tragic consequences! by W Mukori

According to update by state run Herald, Mahofa said "She says before (Simon) Muzenda's death she went to visit him in hospital along with Hungwe and were told to remain united.

"We promise you in the presence of the VP is that what President Mugabe wants is what will be done in Masvingo province....understand today Kasukuwere as the commissar that whatever you bring to the province as long as it has the President's blessing you will have Masvingo province's support.”

This is the Simon Muzenda mentality, “what President Mugabe wants is what will be done”, is what has got Zimbabwe into this hell-hole. To these Zanu PF simpletons being united has become synonymous with accepting whatever Mugabe says without question. To them Mugabe is infallible!

Mugabe is not some demigod whose “wants” are infinite wisdom not to be questioned by mere mortals.

Mugabe has turned out to be a corrupt, incompetent and murderous tyrant who has brought economic ruin to the nation and has terrorized and murdered over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans to establish and retain his de facto one party dictatorship.

After 35 years of this corrupt and tyrannical Mugabe rule the evidence of his failure are there for all to see; everything is in an advance state of rot and decay and millions of our people now live in abject poverty they cannot afford even one decent meal a day. That anyone much less someone in a position of power and authority like Minister Mahofa should still Mugabe a demigod whose “wants” are still to be blindly obeyed goes to show just Zanu PF has become a party of brainwashed morons.

Some people have resigned themselves to the corrupt, chaotic and tragic situation Mugabe has landed Zimbabwe in and have placed all their hopes on things changing for the better the day he dies. Mahofa’s utterance shows that Mugabe’s death will change nothing; Zanu PF is a party of minions who are totally blind to the tragic reality before their own eyes. The only reality they know is the infallibility of their demigod Mugabe; if he dies they will have another just as corrupt, incompetent and oppressive!

Zimbabweans must renew their resolve and determination to have the GPA reforms implemented followed by the holding of free, fair and credible elections; this is the only sure way of the country ending this political culture of elevating leaders to the level of demigods whose words and actions are never to be questioned!

You have failed to state that for the last 35 years Mnangagwa has been Mugabe's right hand trusted to implement the regime's dirty trick to stay in power at all cost including denying the people the right to a free vote and the murder of over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans. How can such a monster save this country?

  2. "Some will speak the truth when the time comes...I've learnt from the man I live with that when you are honest nothing weighs on your shoulders," said Grace.

Here is a man whose regime has murdered over 30 000 Zimbabweans and his wife tells us “when you are honest nothing weighs on your (his) shoulders”! So it is either that his murderous past is weighing Mugabe down and his wife is telling us the honest truth or else she is not being honest to say nothing is weighing down!
Madam, there is no need for you to speak in so tongue twisting convoluted way, we know Mugabe’s murderous past is weighing down! He has blatantly rigged past elections just to stay in power for fear he will be sitting in The Hague at the ICC the day he leaves office.

Sadly this Mugabe is infallible mentality is one that President Mugabe has drilled into all Zanu PF leaders and have taken root and, in 35 years, have spread to every city, town and village in the land. Look at VP Mphoko, there is a man who considers it a great honour to grovel to President Mugabe and his ever demanding wife! At the time when the nation was literally dying for the need of quality leaders we could not get worse than the likes of Shuvai Mahofa, Mnangagwa, Mphoko, Sekeramai, Tsvangirai, Biti, etc. all ready and willing to grovel to the murderous tyrant Mugabe!

    1. Zanu PF is rotten to the core and thank God the party is imploding. The real worrying thing is the regime is imploding whilst still in power and therefore it could drag the whole nation into the abyss with it! This is why MDC should have implemented the reforms and saved us from this nightmare. Those MDC village idiots must never again be allowed to get back into power!

  4. Grace Mugabe says she will ban importation of products Zimbabwe can and should produce itself.
This regime is known for its pursuit of cheap popularity policies and has gone on to implement them even when it was evident they would be a complete disaster. One has only to look at the regime’s indigenisation laws; they have been a complete disaster for the nation and yet they are still being promoted and ruthless pursued.
The regime knows that even if its policies backfire and are a disaster they will never be held to account – that is what no-regime-change means!
Grace is an empty-head, not even one single sound idea has ever come out of her; the nation has been bombarded with her ill thought-out ideas for the last year and soon these ideas will become government policies. We are stuck with her and her empty-head ideas; that too is what no-regime-change means.

  5. Tsvangirai did not need a coalition in 2008 or 2013 to defeat President Mugabe. What MDC needed are free, fair and credible elections.

MDC had the chance to ensure the elections in 2013 will be free and fair; all they had to do is implement the 2008 GPA democratic reforms. Sadly MDC leaders sold-out; they accepted President Mugabe's gravy train bribes including the $ 4 million Highlands mansion for Tsvangirai in return for them doing nothing about implementing the reforms.

SADC, which was the guarantor of the GPA, warned MDC not to take part in the elections with no reforms implemented but they might have just as well been speaking to a donkey than to Tsvangirai. Zanu PF, as expected, went on to rig the 2013 elections.

Unless the GPA reforms are implemented, Zanu PF will rig the next elections too.

Tsvangirai recognizes the need for reforms but, sadly, he is once again seeking the ease way out by demanding feeble electoral reforms. The donkey has been warned the feeble reforms will achieve nothing but as usual it will be asking for too much to expect an ass to be moved by reason!

The opposition parties who signed the NERA document have put down their marker because only mediocre parties would commit themselves to something as feeble and useless as electoral reforms.

Grace is not ever an MP much less a minister and therefore has not taken any oath of allegiance to the country. How can she then be considered as anything else other than an ordinary citizen?

Paradza has just joined the long queue of Zanu PF boot-lickers, a speciality of the party’s members, all desperate to outdo each other in their praise of Grace. No doubt some Mugabe loyalists will be telling us that Grace was "chosen by God to lead the country!" Mugabe will have chosen her and since has God ever chosen a murderous tyrant for his messenger!?

  7. Muzenda's mentality goes against the ethos of democratic rule in which the people rule by holding those in power to account. How can the people hold those in power to account if they are regard the rulers infallible? PATRICK

  8. Zanu PF want Harare Airport named after Mugabe.
There will be a thorough investigation into Gukurahundi and rigged elections; if Mugabe is found to have had a hand in any of these then the airport's name will be changed. No nation in its right mind would ever want anything named after a vote-rigging and murderous tyrant!
